We’ve been hard at work building Futaba USA, the official Hobby Radio Control group for Futaba, from the ground up. We truly appreciate your patience and loyalty throughout this journey, and we’re thrilled with how it has all come together!

Futaba’s journey in the hobby radio control industry has been one of evolution and growth. Originally managed directly by Futaba, distribution rights were granted to Hobbico for nearly 20 years, during which Hobbico handled our sales, marketing, and customer service. In 2018, following Hobbico’s acquisition, Futaba brought its hobby radio control division back in-house, forming the Hobby Radio Control group. Now, when you reach out to Futaba, you’re connecting with a team that is 100% owned and operated by Futaba.

With the transition, we felt that refreshing our name, website, and introducing new features like our Facebook page would help mark the beginning of a new era for Futaba’s Hobby Radio Control group.

We regularly post (and give things away!) on our dedicated Facebook page, and we periodically send out an email newsletter that you can sign up for at the bottom of our homepage!

Orders and Shipping

At this time, Futaba USA proudly provides Futaba equipment to 33 countries across 3 continents. This includes the following countries: Argentina, Aruba, Belize, Bermuda, Bolivia, Brazil, Canada, Cayman Islands, Chile, Colombia, Costa Rica, Curacao, Dominican Republic, Ecuador, El Salvador, Falkland Island, Guam, Guatemala, Guyana, Haiti, Honduras, Israel, Jamaica, Mexico, Nicaragua, Panama, Paraguay, Peru, Puerto Rico, United States, Suriname, Uruguay and Venezuela.

When your order has shipped you will receive an email from Futaba USA or Futaba USA Customer Service providing a tracking number for your newly shipped order. Additionally, under My Account > Orders on FutabaUSA, an order will show a status of “Completed” when an order has shipped. If your order status shows “Completed” but you haven’t received a tracking number, please send contactus@futabausa.com a message with your order number and information with the subject line, “Tracking Number Missing”.

When you submit an order on FutabaUSA, you should immediately (within one hour) receive confirmation by email. If you do not receive this email, please send a message to contactus@futabausa.com with your name and any information about your order.

Absolutely! There is an option at check-out to select this preference. Once you’ve submitted your order, send your order number and information to contactus@futabausa.com with the subject line, “Huntsville Pickup”. We will then schedule a time for you to stop by and get your order.

Pending items are in stock, yes. You MUST contact our Customer Service Representative (256-461-9399, ext. 419) to make sure your order will be able to be fulfilled and arrange a time for pickup.

Orders may only be cancelled if they have not shipped yet. If you need to cancel an order and are within that time frame, please email contactus@futabausa.com with the subject line, “Order [Insert Order # Here] Cancel Request”. If your order has already been shipped, we will not be able to cancel it.

To be eligible for a return, your purchase from Futaba USA must meet the following conditions:

-Brand new condition
-Unused
-Not discontinued
-Purchased within the last 6 months
-Purchased directly from our web store FutabaUSA.com; we cannot accept returns for items bought from other outlets.

If your item meets these criteria and you wish to proceed, please email us at contactus@futabausa.com with the subject line, “Order [Insert Order # Here] Return Request”, and include your proof of purchase. We reserve the right to decline any return, and we do not accept returns for products purchased from dealers.

PLEASE NOTE: There is a 3% restocking fee upon refund.


Selling Futaba

Absolutely! Our requirements are that you have either a brick and mortar or publicly active web store. If you have one (or both!) of these, to request information about becoming an official dealer for Futaba, please email contactus@futabausa.com with the subject line, “Dealer Account Request”.

Repairs and Warranty

We’re sorry to hear that! You can submit a service or warranty request with our service request form.

If it is within 1 year of purchasing and you have proof of purchase date, your Futaba warranty is valid. All warranties must be processed and handled through FutabaUSA.com and our service center. This warranty will cover factory defects. To begin this process, please fill out a service request form.

At this time, our service center is only able to provide repairs and servicing to Futaba products for sale through Futaba USA. For easy reference, if it is for sale on our website, we can help! However, we are happy to provide limited troubleshooting for some of our legacy products. Call (256)-461-9399, ext. 8 or email our service center at service@futabausa.com to find out if we can provide service for a specific product or get troubleshooting help with your Futaba product from technical support at support@futabausa.com!
