Hobbies of Choice: I enjoy racing R/C, watching supercross, bowling.
Favorite Futaba product: My favorite product from Futaba is the Futaba 7PX Limited Edition radio system.
Favorite track/field: My favorite track is Thunder Alley Raceway in Beaumont, Ca.
Favorite Accomplishment: My favorite racing accomplishments are my three ROAR 1/8th National Championships, and Neo titles. I’m also very honored to have seven R/C Car Action Driver of the Year awards.
Radio set-up: Futaba 7PX Limited with drop down option and Futaba R324SBS receiver. I choose the R324SBS receiver because the dual antenna provides addition security for nitro racing.
I enjoy following and watching supercross and motocross. I raced motocross when I was younger and I’ve always enjoyed it.
I was born in Grand Rapids, Michigan. Moved to South Carolina when I was 9 years old. Moved back to Michigan after high school to go to college and for work. Moved to California when I was 21 years old to work in the R/C industry.
Enjoy racing and spending time with my beautiful wife Ronda and our two dogs.
Ronda and I have a business, The Drake Racing Corp that sells, services, and breaks-in nitro engines.
